Opoka, as a subsidiary of the Group, provides emotional support and guidance to women and children from within the Polish community who are escaping domestic violence. Our services are delivered by specially trained, bilingual Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVAs), Domestic Violence (DV) Outreach workers, Counsellors, and Helpline & Crisis Response workers, as well as a team of volunteers, peer mentors, and community champions across the UK.

OPOKA CIO has a vision of a world where women and children live free from all forms of violence and abuse and create a safer world for all women and children, regardless of their nationality or ethnicity.

Opoka Mission

OPOKA CIO’s mission is to support and empower Polish women and their children who are experiencing domestic abuse and sexual violence in their intimate relationships by providing client-centred support for women and children, by women. They also aim to prevent violence against women and their children in the Polish community by increasing awareness, education, and understanding.
